My first salon was in the Bronx opened 1992 White Plains Rd. area. My second salon opened in 1993 North Ave., New Rochelle, NY my third salon opened 1999 Main St., New Rochelle, NY.
I came to Westchester in 1993 open my second salon on North Avenue in New Rochelle was located there for 5 1/2 years and then in 1998. I open the salon on Main Street in the downtown District of New rochelle.
Denise's hair designs have been published in several hair design magazines in the U.S.A. and Internationally! She was also nominated to compete in the Bonner Brothers hair show in Atlanta, Georgia, and she has been a fill in hair designer for print and television.
Denise has volunteered as a hair designer for churches in the community of New Rochelle, various women's shelters, and charter schools in the Bronx and the Westchester County school district in helping single mothers and their children with special formal occasions, proms, and graduations. Denise also worked with health development in educating women on self-health care. Denise also has the proud privilege of being a prominent stylist for a New York State senator!
The salon is named after Denise's son "Habib," which means "darling I love you," and it has received a certificate of honor for being in business over 20 years from the Mayor of New Rochelle. Denise and her experienced staff of independent stylist's goals are to continue to provide top quality and artistic hair design services to new and recurring customers alike, while also continuing volunteer community outreach. Our salon staff has worked diligently, and will continue to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our clients, especially through covid. She looks forward to serving all of your beauty needs!
